Condition
The conditions for you to have the opportunity to study in Germany for free are:
- Students who have passed the entrance exams to regular universities in Vietnam.
- Graduated from high school, total score of 6 subjects in the graduation exam of the Ministry of Education is not less than 36 points. In which, at least 4/6 subjects must be from 6 points or higher and no subject must be below 4 points.
- For those studying a master's program, a transcript and a university degree are required.
With self-funded study in Germany, the conditions will be more lenient:
- If you choose to follow the general education program in Germany, you do not need a foreign language, only need to be under 20 years old.
- If you choose a university training program, you need the following factors: Having taken the national high school exam with a minimum score of 24 points in 4 subjects (no subject below 4 points, no bonus points).
- If you choose a postgraduate program, you must have a university degree and a graduation thesis from a regular university in Vietnam.
Living and study expenses
Regarding tuition fees, currently universities in Germany have very impressive tuition exemption policies, many schools completely exempt tuition fees for students. The cost of living in Germany is not too expensive, only about 500-700 Euro per person per month.
For students studying for free, Germany has up to 300 public universities with free tuition such as Hamburg Media School, Augsburg University, Bamberg University... For self-funded international students, you can also choose schools with free tuition. Most of the time, you only have to pay the student management fee.
Job opportunities
The job opportunities for free study abroad and self-funded study abroad are the same. As long as you try your best, Germany always has opportunities to help you develop and improve your quality of life.
